Insert Coins are crypto-powered reward tokens designed by Exergy Games. Mirroring an IRL arcade experience, players can win and spend Insert Coins within all titles developed by Exergy Games.

One goal of Exergy Games is to release five games in ten years, all sharing an interconnected narrative universe whose story starts with Rocket Dogs. Upon a game's launch, the Insert Coin Arcade will add the title into its roster, so players can seamlessly jump between games and the worlds therein— all while still using and obtaining the same token.

There is a lifetime fixed supply of 1 trillion tokens in the Insert Coin Arcade.

All Insert Coins are available to be awarded from the day of the supply's creation by the Insert Coin Arcade. They are not vested or unlocked over time. Insert Coins are awarded as detailed below:

Player Reward Pools

The arcade token design of Insert Coins necessitates a reimagining of how daily player rewards function.

Player Rewards are split into 4 different types of Player Reward pools:

Game Launch Pools

5% of total supply each, for the first 5 Exergy Games, 25% of total supply.

Each of the first 5 Exergy Games, starting with Rocket Dogs, have 5% of the total supply of Insert Coins for their game's dedicated Player Reward pool. These pools award Insert Coins daily for 5 years: 1% of the total supply per year, per game, for the first 5 years of each game to kickstart that game's economy.

Once a game's dedicated Player Reward pool is depleted after 5 years, the game's daily Insert Coin rewards will come exclusively from its share of the Daily Active User pool.

Daily Active User Pool

20% of total supply for the entire Insert Coin Arcade.

The Daily Active User pool is shared among all games within the Insert Coin Arcade. Its initial supply is awarded daily over 10 years: 2% of the total supply per year for the first 10 years of the Insert Coin Arcade.

Daily Insert Coin rewards are split pro-rata among all arcade games. These splits are based on their % of the Arcade's total daily active users. For example, if Rocket Dogs has 45% of the daily active users of the Arcade, its players will receive 45% of the daily Insert Coin rewards. The remaining 55% will be split pro-rata between the Arcade's other games. An example is given below:

The pro-rata splits of this pool's daily Insert Coin rewards readjust weekly. These readjustments are based on the prior week's daily active user splits of each game in the Arcade. See below for more details.

When Rocket Dogs first launches, it will be the only game in the Insert Coin Arcade. Its players will receive 100% of the Daily Active User pool's daily Insert Coin rewards until additional games are added to the Arcade.

The Daily Active User pool is a key component of the Insert Coin Arcade's circular economy. As detailed further below, 80% of all Insert Coins spent in game will be recirculated back to the Daily Active User pool. This recirculation will ensure that the Arcade always has Insert Coins available for Player Rewards, even after the pool's initial 10-year supply is awarded. All Insert Coins recirculated this way during years 1-10 will be held in the pool until year 11.

Starting in year 11, all recirculated Insert Coins (i.e., the first 10 year's recirculated Insert Coins), will fund Player Rewards in perpetuity. Also starting in year 11, the total weekly rewards allocation of this pool will be algorithmically determined on a continual basis as a derivative of the current average Insert Coin in-game spend rate to ensure the pool is never depleted.

Reserve Pool

2% of total supply for the entire Insert Coin Arcade.

The Reserve pool is used to cover spikes in daily active users over the weekly projection. The Reserve pool will cover any additional daily Insert Coin rewards needed during a daily active user spike in between Weekly Reward Rate Readjustments.

The Reserve pool is refilled when daily active users are less than the weekly projection. The non-awarded Insert Coins from these weeks are first used to refill the Reserve pool (if needed) before being rolled over to the following week's rewards. See below for more details.

Promotions Pool

23% of total supply for the entire Insert Coin Arcade.

The Promotions pool is used in a variety of ways, primarily to award Insert Coins to players of games in the Insert Coin Arcade:

Daily Insert Coin Reward Rates

Every gameplay activity that wins Insert Coins ‐ a Winning Activity ‐ in the Arcade has a daily Insert Coin reward rate. These rates are based on the weekly Insert Coin rewards allocated per game, and the distribution of that allocation among all winning activities within those games. These Insert Coin reward rates are subject to Weekly Reward Rate Readjustments.

When Rocket Dogs first launches as the only game in the Insert Coin Arcade, it will receive its weekly Insert Coin rewards allotment from its Game Launch pool plus 100% of the weekly Insert Coin rewards allotment from the Daily Active User pool. An example of Rocket Dogs' first week of daily Insert Coin rewards is given below:

* Season Leaderboard Prize Pool is the total of 91 days of Insert Coin rewards. Each Season will last 13 weeks, or 91 days.

An example is given below of Rocket Dogs' potential week 1 daily Insert Coin reward rates. These Insert Coin reward rates are based on a projected average of 25,000 races per day for week 1:

The Reserve pool will be used to cover any additional Insert Coin rewards needed due to the daily Insert Coins reward rate. For example, if an average of 30,000 races occur per day in this first week of Rocket Dogs, these additional Insert Coins will be awarded from the Reserve Pool. The following week, the Insert Coin rewards rates will be adjusted lower based on the increased daily active user count. See below for more details.

In weeks where less than the projected Insert Coins are awarded, the remaining Insert Coins will first be added to the Reserve pool if the pool contains less than the 2% of the supply (the Target Reserve Balance.) If the Reserve pool is already at 2%, these Insert Coins will be rolled over to the next week, thereby increasing the daily Insert Coin rewards rate for the upcoming week. This is called a Rollover allocation.

The final week 1 Rocket Dogs daily Insert Coin reward rates will be officially announced upon the Grand Opening of the Insert Coin Arcade. That way, an accurate daily active user projection can be used to determine week 1's daily Insert Coin reward rates. The above rates are used as examples only and are not intended as guaranteed week 1 rates. Actual week 1 daily Insert Coin rewards rates could be higher or lower.

Distribution splits of daily Insert Coin rewards, such as Rocket Dogs' initial 95% to Racing and ~5% to its Season Leaderboard Prize Pool, are subject to change at the discretion of Exergy Games as it sees fit. Should Exergy Games decide to readjust these splits, they can at any time by announcing it to players at least two weeks before any readjustment.

Weekly Reward Rate Readjustments

The daily Insert Coin reward rate for all winning activities within the Insert Coin Arcade will readjust weekly to maintain a balanced in-game economy. These readjustments are directly connected to the prior week's average daily active player counts and ensure that, on average, the appropriate number of Insert Coins are being awarded daily.

To determine the next week's daily Insert Coin reward rates, weekly rate adjustments will be informed by these factors in the following order:

  1. Determine Daily Active User splits of the Insert Coin Arcade for the preceding week
  2. Distribute prior week's non-awarded Insert Coins to either the Reserve pool or this week's Rollover allocations (if applicable)
  3. Determine weekly allocation for each arcade game based on its share of the Daily Active user pool, its Game Launch pool (if applicable), and its Rollover allocations (if applicable)
  4. Determine daily Insert Coin reward rates for each winning activity for each arcade game based on its projected active player count (as a function of its projected daily active players), its winning activity distribution splits, and its weekly Insert Coin reward allocation (calculated in steps 1 ‐ 3 above)

Every game in the Insert Coin Arcade will have a wide array of fun, useful, and rewarding ways for players to use their Insert Coins. From upgrading NFTs to unlocking exclusive in-game content, the possibilities and power-ups are only limited by the boundaries of these game worlds.

Claiming Player Rewards

Any Insert Coins you've received or won from playing games in the Insert Coin Arcade, including any Airdrop award of Insert Coins, are claimable from the Exergy Games website using your Exergy Games account. A self-hosted Solana wallet, such as Phantom, is required to claim any Insert Coins.

Once you've won or been awarded an Airdrop of Insert Coins, you have 60 days to claim them. Any Insert Coins that remain unclaimed after 60 days will be returned to the Player Rewards pool.

Depending on a player's jurisdiction and certain regulatory limits, additional requirements may be required to claim Insert Coins.
